In 2018 Biochem expanded its range of animal nutrition products with the introduction of the new HatchGel SP for modern poultry breeds. According to Biochem, the gel solution with its composition not only serves as an application medium, but also combines nutritional value, prebiotic effect, vaccine protection and water stabilisation or colour effect. The HatchGel SP can be used as a drop application or on the starter food. It is suitable as a carrier for orally absorbed substances such as probiotics.<\/p>\n

To ensure that the gel is applied as evenly as possible to the chicks, ME International together with Mrs Frisch designed a spray lance that can be easily attached to the Maruyama back sprayer. The lance should be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the respective locations, taking into account user-friendliness and a high-quality construction. In cooperation with regional suppliers, prototypes were initially produced which, after careful practical tests with the Maruyama back sprayer, finally resulted in a solution suitable for series production.<\/p>\n
The Maruyama Back Sprayer guaranteed a constant pressure ratio during spraying, which is a considerable advantage especially for the application of gel.
