Gallux is so special because we use six different spectral bands, including a UV component. This makes it possible to reproduce all conceivable daylight scenarios with Gallux. So you can create comfort light for the African shoebill as well as the optimal lighting conditions for farm poultry.
With the practical control, all scenarios can be saved and timed optimally.
Due to the innovative design, a wide variety of lighting conditions can be continuously controlled and dimmed. This makes an infinite number of light compositions possible.
This is so important and advanced because poultry perceive light very differently than humans. With light up to 160 hertz, poultry perceive flashes of light that humans cannot see. Normal fluorescent tubes have a frequency of 50 hertz and are
thus pure stress for poultry. Chickens also perceive colors differently than humans. While we only see three colors (red, green and blue), chickens see significantly more colors. Their field of vision is also much larger because they have their eyes on the side of their head. Gallux takes this different perception into account – we only see the difference proportionally with Gallux, but the poultry not only see more, but can be controlled in their sensations by Gallux.
