All devices with 2 syringes have a so-called double syringe. This is connected with a tube, which brings together the vaccines for injection. As only one of the two syringes is equipped with a cannula, they differ slightly. The syringe shown on the right picture (marked blue) will later be equipped with a cannula. The blue marked part „Syringe Tip with Fittings” (Art.-No.: 530500) was made to fit the syringe perfectly. If possible, the parts should not be exchanged. If the part is exchanged or screwed to another syringe, the connections no longer fit together ideally. This could cause the small tube to bend, which would prevent smooth vaccination.
To ensure perfect positioning even after cleaning and removing the syringes, each syringe and each Syringe Tip has a number. The number enables the matching parts to be easily merged and assigned each time. In addition, you can always find the ideal position for screwing the syringe together using the number. When screwing them together, make sure that the numbers are exactly opposite each other. It is important that all seals and springs in the syringe are checked. These must not be damaged or outdated. Then screw the two parts together firmly by hand. Do not use any tools for this! It is intended that all parts which have to be removed during cleaning are to be screwed by hand.
The two pictures above serve as an example. The syringe and Syringe Tip have the number 9, which is held exactly opposite for screwing together. After starting to screw it is no longer important how the numbers are positioned. It only helps to find the right positioning at the beginning.
