Ventilation

Ventilation of BioJector with one syringe #

  1. Remove complete syringe from the BioJector.
  2. Connect tube with vaccine to the syringe input nipple.
  3. Disconnect plunger assembly from syringe body.
Please note: If the syringe is in good condition, the vaccine must not flow into the syringe body by itself.
  4. To perform the ventilation, carefully unscrew the input nipple until the vaccine flows from the tube into the syringe body.
  5. After the syringe body has completely been filled with the vaccine, reconnect the plunger assembly and screw it tightly to the syringe body.
Important: Because of the pressure, a small amount of vaccine will leak from the front end. If this is not the case, please repeat steps 2 to 5.

Remember: It is very important that the Plunger (the blue O-Ring) is sprinkled with oil before each use (after each cleaning and disinfecting).Without oil, significant problems can arise!

Ventilation of BioJector with two syringes #

  1. Remove complete syringe from the BioJector.
  2. Start the ventilation with the syringe that is not actively injecting the vaccine (to the left in the direction of injection).
  3. Connect tube with vaccine to the syringe input nipple.
  4. Disconnect plunger assembly from syringe body.
Please note: If the syringe is in good condition, the vaccine must not flow into the syringe body by itself.
  5. To perform the ventilation, carefully unscrew the input nipple until the vaccine flows from the tube into the syringe body.
If the vaccine does not flow into the syringe body correctly, please check whether the ball valve inside the input nipple has become stuck.
  6. After the syringe body has completely been filled with the vaccine, reconnect the plunger assembly and screw it tightly to the syringe body.
Important: Because of the pressure, a small amount of vaccine will leak from the front end. If this is not the case, please repeat steps 3 to 6
  7. Please repeat steps 3 to 6 to ventilate the 2nd syringe body.

Remember: It is very important that the Plunger (the blue O-Ring) is sprinkled with oil before each use (after each cleaning and disinfecting).Without oil, significant problems can arise!
